Athlete Test History
This search includes all samples collected from athletes conducted for USADA’s Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, and Parapan American testing programs.
The number of samples USADA has collected is typically not the number of test sessions an individual athlete has been selected for during a given period, as multiple samples (e.g., blood, urine, Dried Blood Spot) are often collected during a test session. Thus, the number of samples collected typically does not equate to the number of times an athlete has been selected for an in-competition or out-of-competition test session with a USADA Doping Control Officer.
A search result may include:
- Urine samples
- Whole blood samples (for the Athlete Biological Passport)
- Dried Blood Spot (DBS) samples (effective Q3 2022)
- Serum blood samples (figures added Q1 2023 for past and future samples)
- In- and out-of-competition samples
- Samples collected from U.S. athletes living and/or training internationally that are collected by other testing entities when the request was made by USADA
- Samples collected from any athlete for which USADA is the testing and/or results management authority (effective Q1 2023)
This search will not include:
- Samples collected from U.S. athletes by other testing entities, if the test session was not requested or initiated by USADA
- Samples collected by USADA at the request of other sport organizations, events, International Federations, or individuals are also not included (with the exception of the sports of motocross, professional boxing, and UFC mixed martial arts, which CAN be found in the athlete test history)
- Data that is more than 10 years old
This resource is intended to show the total number of samples USADA has collected from an individual athlete and is not an accurate representation of USADA’s total testing sessions or the total number of anti-doping tests an athlete will undergo because it does not include data from other organizations with testing jurisdiction (e.g., International Federations, major games organizers). For questions or clarifications, please contact media@USADA.org.
This database is updated weekly.
USADA regularly audits its testing data to ensure accuracy and transparency, and this may occasionally cause fluctuations in total testing numbers for some athletes. Please note that testing activity was also temporarily reduced from March – August 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
