Greta Neimanas began her journey to become a Paralympian after discovering her passion for cycling at the age of 16 during a trip to the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. Supported by her family and team, she soon realized that dream when she made it to the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, an achievement she followed with another Paralympic Games in 2012. She then went on to become a two-time World Champion. Throughout her career, she welcomed her anti-doping responsibilities as part of the effort to uphold clean sport.
Having experienced the positive power of clean sport, both personally and in society, Greta is now working to protect the value of sport by helping to ensure that other athletes uphold clean sport and compete with integrity. As an anti-doping education athlete presenter for USADA, the retired Paralympian will use her own experiences to help athletes understand anti-doping rules and inspire their commitment to clean sport.
